compact and repair database

Please close the client completly. Kill client processes rbclient.exe and rbackup.exe via task manager.

If RBS client is running as a service, goto command prompt and navigate to following path, C:\Program Files\Remote Backup and type rbackup /u Please edit the client installation path if it is not the default path.

Take a backup of backup.mdb file and save it at a different location.

Now download and compact the database using the link given below.

Compact the database i.e. the backup.mdb file. Click browse button to locate the database under C:\Program Files\Remote Backup folder (or Application Folder) and then click compact to compact it.

After the compact process is complete, run the attached utility to repair the database.
